But ahead of the release of the 2020 Corolla sedan and hatchback, Toyota is releasing a special Nightshade Edition package. This gives the Japanese automaker a total of six models that offer the said package, including the 4Runner, Highlander, Sienna, and Camry.
For the Nightshade Edition package, the Corollas will come with blacked out badges, grille surround, rocker panels, mirrors, window trim, door handles, spoiler, rear diffuser, sharkfin antenna, and 18-inch wheels. It will also come with three color options in Black Sand Pearl, Super White, and Classic Silver Metallic.

However, the package will not be offered with a manual transmission and will be based on the Corolla SE sedan with the continuous variable transmission. It starts at $22,705 and an additional $945 for destination charge. This marks a $700 increase from the standard Corolla SE CVT. Meanwhile, the hatchback version, which is also based on the same trim, starts at $23,245.
While there will be no performance upgrade on the model, the new package does come with new features such as Android Auto compatibility for all trim levels and a Sirius XM radio that will be standard on the SE and XSE trims.

Toyota is also giving the model a black roof option, an option for additional cargo capacity, and a tire repair kit.
